I have a question.

Do you think Tesla's are total pieces of <edited> garbage.

Thanks!

Please watch the language: one of the Forum rules. There are other ways to say a car is bad without using such language.

Okay, Thanks!

Tesla has been discussed ad nauseam on this forum.  Please do a search but in short they should be avoided.

okay

No.  They are just really <edited> electric cars.  Garbage is organic waste.

Doc, watch the language. This is a family friendly site.

Sorry - Crumby

IMHO, the electric motor on a Tesla is probably the best in the industry. Their battery technology is probably the best too at the moment. But the battery still succumbs to being a battery and wears out.

As far as the overall quality? It is lacking. If you sit in one, and feel around, it feels cheaply made. Even if it has all the fancy features.

Ergonomics, I HATE their user interface with a passion. It sucks that they are so popular, that other car makers are trying to put everything in a touch screen like them. I hate the touch screen. I want my eyes on the road, not a screen.

It is important to keep in mind that every Tesla vehicle ever made has been recalled for something, a distinction shared by no other car company in history.

I'm sure a car manufacturer has to work really hard to achieve something like this!!

Are Teslas Garbage???

Yes - My impressions from Tesla are the same as from an early Chinese car.

The car is not built how it should, repair info is scarce, and part availability is even worse than of a no-name Chinese SUV

How is Tesla different from MG? Geely? Haval? Chery?

The answer is that it's on the same level, but while others are maturing, IMO Tesla doesn't.

They're getting ran over on the Euro market, "China's assault on european electric car market gathers momentum"

https://www.forbes.com/sites/neilwinton/2022/07/05/chinas-assault-on-european-electric-car-market-gathers-momentum

And on the US market, and my local market, the hottest electrified cars are all Korean

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2022-06-25/these-electric-cars-are-quietly-dominating-the-ev-market

It's a car you can't fix or service, it's built poorly, and it just costs too much.

Tesla should go consumer friendly, cause as it stands right now? For now, as I see it, they're absolute junk.

Tesla's are cool and efficient cars, but are not long term reliable in my opinion. In 20 years or more, they will most likely shut down support for certain models, so they can be hard to maintain, possibly, and to top that, not just on Tesla's, but all EVs will go through this issue with the battery architecture becoming obsolete with time, so they won't make those battery cells anymore to keep the car going, since it is an old technology. With technology progressing, I wouldn't dare keeping an EV, they will age like smartphones will. Not great. lol. To me, Gas cars have plenty of parts, are less electronically complex, and doesn't take much to get them running. That's why i don't intend on buying an EV. Too much tech, too much modern crap and cutting corners to make everything fit. That's why I bought my 2013 GT Mustang over a Tesla. lol

I agree. All of the models have so many issues. Oh yeah and the Tesla Model 3 is the biggest problem for them, and the X, and the S, and the Y
