Mike D, 2008 Audi RS4 convertible, manual 6 speed, 101,000 miles (original clutch!).  I'm going to spray the Re-Seal on my convertible rubber parts. I have absolutely no engine or other leaks. May I use the Re-Seal in my V8 preemptively? Should i?

No, I would not add anything to your engine. You only add that stuff as a last resort when there is an issue, and even then it’s usually a band aid (although Scotty will say it did stop leaks for some of his customers).

I agree. Don't do it and only as a last resort.

You can’t seal a leak that’s not happening, this is not how this polymer works. It’s not going to add any life to the gasket.

VW products have issues with oil meshes clogging up so adding a polymer there would be a pretty bad idea.

also you own an Audi, when it will start to leak just go and change the gaskets - it’s not such a massive deal…

also I had my original clutch on my 200,000 mile Fluence and I have seen many other performance cars (Maybe not 420 hp but more like 300 horsepower Volvos) keep their clutches for over 200k miles… - it’s not an Audi dual clutch that burns it’s clutch packs like it’s nothing.
