I have a 2012 Honda Civic LX automatic with about 135,000 mi. I'm looking to install a Android radio in my car But after reading a lot of reviews on them and different sites a lot of people have the same complaints that they either come with no instructions or their so poorly written that they're no help.
Can anybody recommend an Android radio that they've been able to install myself and has the ability to do GPS and whatnot? I'm looking for That's at The very least 7-in diagonally. Thx
I won't comment on current Android stereos, but when I've bought car stereos from crutchfield.com, they came with good instructions and connection kits.
Yeah I remember Scotty did a couple of videos about it I was just putting the feelers out there for any additional input that I could supplement what he already did, thanks though
I’d say research well before purchase. Try to get one with proven user reviews & try to find a demo unit for you to play around with the interface. Installation should be straightforward as @yaser mentioned. All the best!
They are usually straightforward for installation. You can also look up in YouTube for a specific model you consider and most likely you find an installation video.
They have videos on YouTube but it's kind of hit or miss for the 2012 9th generation Civic... They've got them out the wazoo for the 2006 to 2011 and 2013 onward... But that 2012 it's hard to find a decent removal video from start to finish... The only one I did find That was really detailed and well was completely in Spanish 🙄
