Audi 2012

Hi Scotty

Apparently my engines compressor test didn’t come back in good health. Should I get a new or refurbished engine? Or get rid of the car it has about 160k miles and the turbo needs to be replaced? Pls advise.

If you mean the cylinders do not have good compression, being an Audi, I would sell it sooner than later.

Dump it.

At 160,000 miles I would get rid of that vehicle as soon as you can.

Sell it, consider buying a Corolla or if you want 'performance' a Camry can be optioned with up to 301 horsepower (and still have flawless reliability).

I won't be able to give you any advise but, a long time ago a friend of mine bought a petrol 1.6 Audi A3, and he had a very similar issue (if not the same) which he couldn't solve without wasting a lot of cash in repairs. I believe he re-sold it for cheap...
