Hello i replaced the battery in my audi and now the car does start can i code the battery with a scan tool? I heard letting the car computer reset and erase memory messes something up? Is this true?

Yeah, with modern cars that are full of electronic nonsense. Older cars with mechanical systems do not have such problems.
