Hello dear Scotty and everyone.

I bought a used Audi A6 C5 1.8t 1999 with 120.000km-65.000miles manual transmission.

Engine code APU.

I bought it from a private owner. The car was been sitting most of it's time and there is history maintenance.

Is a good idea to do an engine flush? Using something like LIQUI MOLY PRO-LINE ENGINE FLUSH?

I opened the oil filling cap and there is some oil dirt inside. Nothing much just black burned oil. No sludge or oil with water mixture.Runs smooth.

Just thinking to clean it a little bit from inside, anything to provide a better engine run and long lasting.

If someone has to suggest anything else to do with the engine and transmission to last a little bit longer feel free to share.

Greetings from Greece to everyone and thank you in advance.

If you haven't done it yet, I would suggest having a mechanic go over the entire car. Hopefully there is nothing too wrong with it, as Audi parts are not cheap.

Thank you for your response.

I took it to a mechanic.

We 've changed the shocks some linkages and mounts.

I am just wondering about the interior of the engine and what i can to for it to make it last more years.

That's why I'm thinking flushing the engine.
