Hi, I just bought a 1993 190e 2.6 automatic, I love how smooth the engine is and it has 143,000 miles. Transmission was rebuilt at 100,000, everything else seems to be working, just needs some bushings here and there, have you repaired any of these, do they have any weak links, what's your opinion on it ? I drive it 20 miles a week , it just reminds me of my childhood.

Those older E series were actually pretty good looking and I heard they were actually pretty reliable compared to their successor generations.
Take care of it and you might love it as your beloved toy.

I think they are pretty neat. They were definitely built better than the modern cars are.
