Hey Scotty.
I got q 1973 mercedes 450slc automatic transmission with 73k miles.
Its overheating when idling.
I already replaced the waterpump, thermostat, coolant hoses that were corroded from the inside. I also used thermocure to remove all the rust in the system. I also switched the old liquid driven fan with an electric fan.
Its still overheating idling, but at highway speeds 55+mph it stays right around 175°f. Should i replace the radiator? Or what else could cause overheating? Thank you.

Check the radiator for clogs and that your electric fan is turning on when needed. Also see the troubleshooting section of the FAQ.
