We own an 2015 Audi Q5 2.0L engine with over 85,000 miles. The engine requires a top off of 1 quart at more frequent intervals. I have read of this issue and before I take it to Carmax, I am looking for a solution.
Short of a rebuild there must be a way to get at least another year or so out of this.

Depends, but not really in most cases.
If the PCV valve hasn’t been changed recently, do that.
Beyond that, will probably benefit from a hands on assessment from a German specialist to tell you for sure what is wrong and how (if) to fix it. Be prepared for bad news.
