Audi S5 Misfires and EPC light

Hi Scotty, long time youtube subscriber here from the UK.

I have a 2012 Audi S5 facelift (the facelift came out in 2013 in the US). When I rev it over 5000 rpm it has much less power (red line is 6500), and if I keep revving it eventually I start getting misfires. If I keep doing more that it eventually loses power completely as if the engine switched off, but it doesnt, and doesn't respond to the accelerator pedal, and the engine revs erratically with the engine and EPC lights on. I have to turn the engine off and back on for it to work again. It's been doing this for a while now. I took it to a garage to connect the EBD port to a laptop and it says something about lambda sensors. Don't know if it's related.

Cheers!

Rafael

Just to add, it's the 3.0 TFSI V6 petrol version.

Wow if sensors go bad they can reach back and actually shut the whole car down by screwing up with a computer pray it's that and not a computer failure realizes Audis are endless money pits as they age and they will bankrupt and average man if you keep them too long
