trouble starting

Audidiot here, you're my last hope.

Hello! No mechanic around here know how to fix this simple problem. No codes, no apparent malfunctions.
A3 8P from 2008, 1.6 bse petrol engine. Aside from a lot of other manageable issues, my car has some trouble starting 1 or 2 hours after I've just used it. It eventually starts(takes a couple of tries) but the engine struggles a bit.
After that, it's all back to normal. I can stop the engine and it will reignite normally, smooth idle. First start of the day is always strong and instant. Can't figure out the cause.
Parts I've changed that might cause this:

the coolant sensor
camshaft sensor
battery
tested the alternator and it's working fine.

Last note, somethig I noticed recently, If I turn the key a few times a 3rd of the way, and then try to start the engine. It starts, sometimes with a little struggle, but it does.

Thanks,
Best regards,
Audidiot

Your starter might be starting to go. The wiring or harnesses can be a fault. Next time it doesn't start hit the starter a few times and see what happens

When you replaced your cam position sensor did you use oem or aftermarket. A aftermarket sensor will almost never work properly Check the wiring and connections to. Just because a sensor is new doesn't mean it's good . Usually I will buy a non dealer oem parts.

Example. My Mercedes mass airflow is made by Bosch.  The Mercedes one cost double compared to Bosch all because of name on package and part . Both are OEM just one is cheaper.

Crank position sensor and its connector .

I also have heard of the ecu getting hot and causing issues. That is a possibility but unlikely.

Lastly engine coolant temp can be at fault.

How many miles do you have on the vehicle

Try using starting fluid and see if it starts up easier. It might be a fuel pump problem

Check your fuel pressure
