Automatic transmission fluid change or not?

I recently passed along my 2011 Camry to my son.  It has 158,000.  Engine runs like new having synthetic oil changes every 5000 miles.  Transmission is "sealed" and I've never changed the fluid.  Runs fine however during 15-20 degree winter mornings it had sorta "clunked" into 2nd or 3rd gear only during initial driving when the engine temp. gauge still shows no warm-up whatsoever.  It shifts fine afterwards.

I've watched almost all of your videos on the subject of AT fluid changes and I've concluded to leave this high mileage fluid alone.  I picked up a bottle of Lucas Transmission Fix to add in just to have some sort of refresh of lubricates.

Your thoughts?  Should I drain and refill the fluid or just add the Lucas refresher?  Many thanks, in advance!

Those transmissions don't shead clutch material like the American transmissions do. Therefore you are safe to change the fluid and it would be a good idea to.

I’d do a drain & fill in a Camry, but first, check the condition of the fluid. See here -
