Scotty,
you are always saying how the worst time for an engine is during start-up. how about an aux pump? I knew a dude that had a '69 ford PU with a 426 (sometimes with tri-power) he had an electric oil pump. before he started he turned it on to build pressure to 40psi before starting.

That actually would work they just don't do that when they build them because it would cost more money to build them that way
