Hello Scotty, I love this new website. Thank you! My quick ? Should I invest in a new paint and seat jobs on Toyo Cor CE 06 w beige interior/ champagne exterior. It was my mother's car and I do want to keep driving it , but its got hideous, no clear coat paint with rusted rims no fog lights just the gaps and a dented driver front panel.
A friend's guy will do the interior for $500. And a plane painter told me a paint job for $800 but the whole car is worth about $1600.

Maaco's basic paint job is much cheaper. If the car's worth $1600, I would get that.

Making a recommendation is a bit difficult, because you are not asking for a mechanical advice, it is more an aesthetic advice.
Can you car run without a new paint job or new interior? probably yes. 🙂
Alternatively, unless you repaint it and change the interior you do not want to drive it anymore, you can look for a car that you like it and is less than $2900 (1600 + 800 + 500). But you take a gamble, need to find a car you like, make sure it is not a scam and run nicely...
Finally, if you drive it quite a bit, you could do just the interior, so at least you sit in a comfortable place while driving.
