Good afternoon! I so hope you can help me! I went into gas station today and came back out in my 2014 Toyota Avalon sound but working everything looks normal on the display when I switch through different sources such as Bluetooth AM FM CD. I took the battery cables off for 20 minutes I don't know what else to do. Can you help me?

Anytime that has happened to me it was because the unit was shot. I know this sounds overly basic, but make sure that your volume is not all the way down and that you are not muting. I assume your phone connects to it via bluetooth... try making and receiving a call.

Dang that's what I was afraid of! I've tried everything that you can think of including the recommendations you have. I've never had a Toyota Lexus with this. do you know if there's any way I can tell before I put an Android system in? I want the dash to look normal.

There are aftermarket units that will look just fine when installed. It sounds like you have checked all that you can. There may be a way to return it to the factory settings, try that before giving up.

I'm out of guy yesterday that has a muffler shop and he said he had a $12,000 scan tool do you think that would pick up an issue with the speakers not working?

I seriously doubt it. You could try going to a shop that specializes in car sound system installations and ask them to take a look, might do it for free. If it is shot, and you really want the factory unit, try getting one from a wreck.
