Hey Skotty, (Cheap and practical guy speaking here) I rarely hear anything about repairs and maintenance costs of Avalons. I know they're more luxurious so I wanted to know are the Avalon's costs in repairs and maintenance as costly as lexus or toyota camry's?
Well they aren't going to be as expensive as a Lexus, that's for sure. Typically our customer bills for maintenance on those are really similar to the Camry costs. It's a luxury car, but still a Toyota and honestly we do not see many for anything other than oil changes, tire rotations, and basic scheduled maintenance. They are good cars in my experience.
I totally agree with Mod_Man. They are competitors with Lexus ES350. The same powertrain. The thing is that people do not buy them compared to Camry because they say that it is Grandpa’s car.
About $300.00 - $400.00 per year on average, depending on a lot of factors.
