I am going to med school and need a car for 2x 200Km motorway trips once a week, and daily 10 min small drives. I'm not sure which will be cheaper to fuel and give me the greatest distance. Thanks

With 20 years old cars I would be more concerned which one will require less repairs, especially if they were driven a lot. Have a mechanic to check them out before you buy anything.

Get the advances if it checks out okay. Realize their old car is 20 years old so you need it checked out
