What's good everyone. 2001 Honda Civic LX 5-Speed with a lil over 162K miles. When I push the lock/unlock button up to unlock the doors the back doors don't unlock but rather I have to manually unlock them myself. What all should I check? It's been goin on since last year of November I'm all a sudden sayin somethin about the locks...

Do they lock normally?

Can you manually open them from the inside? If yes, I’d check the wiring/fuses/relays to the rear doors.

If you can only open them from the outside, check your child locks on the rear doors.

Ye they lock normally and can open them from inside normally but the back seater would have to manually push the lock up to get out. If all the doors are locked no access

Did both back doors stop working at the same time? If so then I would suspect a wiring fault. You would need a wiring diagram to track down the problem. Have you got a Haynes repair manual or something?

Yes sirrrrrrr they did indeed stop working at the same time and I don't have one but I do plan on getting one this weekend the Haynes repair manual
