Hello Scotty. Greetings from Toronto Canada. I am both a Back To The Future fan and Knight Rider fan. In your opinion, would a Trans Am or a Firebird be the most ideal car for personal everyday use.
The Trans Am is a Pontiac Firebird (with upgrades).
The Firebird was discontinued in 2002, making the newest one 20 years old.
They are gas guzzlers.
Antique sports cars are NOT ideal daily drivers.
I assume you mean Firebird or DeLorean.
As a car you have to depend on to get to work? Neither, ever.
As a toy to sink money into? They’re both collectible-ish, and it’s possible to get parts if you know where to look.
BTW: as classic collector cars go, both have a history of very spotty valuations. DeLoreans especially have a history of losing money for their investors. Be extremely careful buying one and don’t overpay.
The DeLorean is a neat car, but way to hard to maintain. I would go with the firebird.
