Would you consider any Chevy Malibu a bad car to buy (specifically a 2016)? Which years would you buy or stay away from if so?

A 1968-1972 Malibu is a great car. The newer ones, pretty awful.
A friend of mine back during this era had one of these and it was a good, reliable car.

I would stay away from it and look for something else.
