How old are your filters and spark plugs?

Presumably you're talking about an automatic transmission. When is the last time it was serviced? Is there enough fluid? What is its condition? Does the transmission feel like it is slipping, or is it the engine that is bogging down?

Hondas of that vintage are known for weak automatic transmissions but there are other problems that can cause that kind of symptom.

the auto trans has never been serviced but is not sliping and has full amount of trans fluid and i never switched spark plugs either. i have the car for 5 years. after shifting gears the engine feels like its bogging down but after bogging down it then catches up and works fine . the engine boggs down when first gear starts and after shifting gears
