Lucas Upper Cylinder Lubricant worth using?

Is this worth using? I tried it in an older car (98 Dodge Stratus over 150,000 mi.) and the acceleration ‘seemed’ smoother. The car, at that point after not being driven much, was my DD for a commute of 90 mi. I figured the Lucas stuff couldn’t hurt. Still using it in my current car - 2013 Charger V6 - that doesn’t get used for a daily commute any more. Just curious on your take on this product.

It's the kind of thing we used to use in cars like Ramblers and Studebakers. Probably didn't do any good for those either, let alone anything remotely modern.

Thanks for the replies. You’ll notice I said it ‘seemed’ to have an effect. I totally get thinking you’re getting a benefit when you’re not. I had read the theoretical explanation of how it works and figured it wouldn’t be on the cylinder walls long enough to lubricate and thus reduce friction and wear. Your replies confirm my skepticism was well founded. Thanks again!
