Bad Engine in a Mazda

Hi, we have a 2018 Mazda CX-9 Touring model with about 77,000 miles.  After some problems with heater, we understand from the dealer that the engine is trash.  They want $11,000 for a replacement motor.  Something about a problem with the engine block and heads being damaged due to the heat from the turbo charger.  I understand that Mazda published a TSB regarding the problem, but I'm not sure they will help me with the cost of replacement.  Further, I'm stuck with a useless car and at the dealer's mercy in terms of getting the car repaired versus trading it in on new car.  This is our second CX-9 and both cars have been problematic.  I thought Mazda's were better cars.  Thanks, Glenn

Well the brand new one seemed to be somewhat better but I guess they still having problems. If you bought those new and change the oil every 5000 mi or so then definitely they have problems
