I have a 1998 ford contour svt. It is a manual transmission and has 120,105 miles. I replaced the clutch at 120k. So the new clutch system has 105 miles on it and i believe either the slave cylinder or master cylindet has failed. I put the car into gear and let off the clutch pedal and it just makes a strange sound. No grinding but the axle will not spin. I have tried troubleshooting and replacing parts but i am stuck on what you do.

Well if it's making a noise odds are it's the slave cylinder or something inside of the parts you just changed. Master cylinder don't really make any noises
