Base spark are too high

Topic starter

Dodge Caliber 2007
149750 mile

The motor runs very well, smooth at idle, but the fuel consumption of the vehicle is very high.

No PCM code,  All live date are in spec except the Base spark that are at 84 degrees at idle

One month ago, i add royal purple max clean to my gas to clean the injectors.

Throttle body is new, MAP sensor and crankshaft sensor are new Mopar original parts

Did anyone have an idea ?

Regards,

Sylvain

Most of my experience is with an oem scanner (not dodges) that air fuel ratio calibration would need to be reset even after changing those parts. Most newer vehicles have an adaptive learning so if a part is bad they adapt to run as best as possible with that part in it.  Generally you should see a code but not always.  You could try and see if anyone has a way to clear the self learn in the ecm so the system can  start over with learning
