Went to remove car battery it was hot its been disconnected for over an hour and it's feels like it's getting hotter does anybody know what's going on with it?

Assuming it's not getting heat from a hot engine compartment maybe it has an internal short. If you have or can borrow an infrared thermometer you can check the actual temperature over time.
