I have a newer Truck with WI-FI connection, what can a hacker do to modern vehicles, with everything computer controlled. Can they disable breaks, accelerate the vehicle and disengage the ignition so you can't even shut the vehicle down because of that? Do the Auto manufactures have safety protocols imbedded into our vehicle's computers? I think this would be a very educational You Tube video for you to do, and I would be willing to do it with you. Thank you for everything you do! You should have my email address now that I signed up for this website.
Anything is possible in theory. In the real world this isn’t a problem worth worrying over.
@chucktobias I purchased a 1993 Dodge Dakota Cub Cab, Finalizing on some simple fixes to it. So, if my newer truck goes rogue, I have a backup.
