I recently chnage my battery on my 06 Honda Civic coupe and the battery sign still shows up in dashboard and I’m wondering if it could be alternator ?

If the battery light is on while the car is running 99% of the time it is the alternator or the grounds.

It might be. Load test the battery and alternator in Autozones for free.

Yes it most likely is. If you measure the battery with a cheap $10 meter you can find out in about 10 seconds.
Or see if your headlights dim when you shut off the motor.
