e. I appreciate that, but suppose that I am in High school and want to impress the girls while on a budget. What type of car am I to buy so the girl feels like she is with a winner?
Not sure I would want to count on a girl who would want to be with me based on the car I drive.

From someone who has been there done that, let me offer you up a free piece of life advice: you don't want that kind of problem.
If she is attracted to your car, she is materialistic. Thus the situation immediately becomes, "I want a (insert car here). Why won't YOU buy me one? YOU have (insert car here), so I should have what I want to."
Man...listen. Avoid that situation like the plague. Women like that are the same with houses, clothes, jewelry, etc. etc. Been there, done that, bought the t-shirt...was not even remotely worth it. I spoil my wife terribly, and she will tell you that....but it's not because she asks to be or expects to be. It's because if I lost everything tomorrow, she would still be with me. And I value that more than anything. THAT is the kind of partner that's worth your time.
@mod_man is the guy I would listen to. If a girl is more attracted to my car than me, I would say to her "See you later gold digger." And drive off lol.

Well, you could buy a Chevy Cruze and impress her with your ability to keep fixing it. Girls love a guy that knows how to fix cars.
OP - do the opposite. Get a car that is NOT easily associated with a “winner” or douchebag. Just get a plain old beater Lincoln Towncar, Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla and the girl (or girls) that still choose to hang out with you - well, those are the ones worth keeping or being around. The ones that are not interested or pass you up solely because of car - well, you were always better off without them.

You're young, I get it. I was there too at one time, and for a short while I had the same approach.
Guess what? It was the wrong approach. Don't waste your time. If you can get on the right track now, you can have a good future.
Buy what you want to drive, and enjoy it. Never worry about what someone else thinks. That's their problem, not yours.
Also, don't get married. Work hard, and only focus on the things that matter.
Learning, applying your knowledge, and understanding how life really works is one of the keys to success.

If I have to be honest, I feel like you are going to take out the girl to prom in your impressive vehicle rather than sitting on a bus with a girl of your interest. I feel like real people don't care as much. I feel like you want to give girls indication you have "Money."
And then the girl will fall in love with the "I have money" impression and not him. Can't imagine a happy ending for this.
@FJCruiser2014 Oh definitely. I mean I see most of my classmates end buying tickets to cruise ships while I am just staying home during school breaks. So I can see how it ends up badly.
A motorcycle with a stereo that is very audible from a distance....I always wanted one of those but was always scared to ride any kind of motorbike.
