LED Upgrades

Topic starter

A headlight bulb (halogen) recently went out on my car and I figured now would be a good time for an upgrade. The LED market on amazon is a total rats nest, practically every brand has 5 stars which I'm pretty skeptical of. I'm a student so I'm working with a lower budget around $60 or less. Anybody have any luck? I'm looking at the Fahren Forcher at the moment. Thanks in advance.

Please provide your vehicle info. Thanks.

I got these Sealight LED bulbs from amazon.

SEALIGHT H11/H9/H8 and 9005/HB3 LED Bulbs Combo, 14000 Lumens 9005 H11 Combo LED Conversion Kit with 400% Brightness, 6000K Cool White, Quick Installation

When I got them I was rather disappointed, there were no brighter than what I had. I got with the manufacturer and they sent me the X2 version, the ones I bought were the X1's. The X2's are great! My visibility at night is so much better now.I have had then just over a year.

I also have projector headlights, so even though they are very bright, I am not blinding people passing me because my headlights are properly aligned.

I would steer away from LED if it didn't come with it.

Honestly, I don't think the cost and potential problems they bring are worth the benefits (if any)
