Hi all, I’m expanding my company’s fleet of work trucks. Wondering everyone’s thoughts on which half ton truck of 2000-2005 is the most economical between purchase price, maintenance, and fuel. They drive about 175 miles a week and need to have a 8 foot bed. Thanks for everyone input!

The fords will be the most reliable in the long run. Both chevy and dodge have known electrical issues as well as their transmission and rear end issues.
Ford has been trying hard in the last 30 years in proving their commercial capabilities to keep their heritage of being the best selling truck in America.

Ford is the best but the Chevy's in those years are good as long as you are ok if the electronics failing.
