Hey Scotty-
I have a 2016 Toyota Camry (102,000 miles; 4 cyl). I was wondering what is the best fuel injection cleaner additive that you would recommend? Since I'm not having any performance issues I thought this might be a cheaper alternative than just doing the injection cleaning service that would be performed by the dealer (they're recommending that service based off mileage, not performance issues).
Thanks!
“Fuel Induction Service” is one the biggest ripoffs from dealerships. It’s not necessarily bad to do, they just charge wayyyyyyyyyyyy too much for what they actual do.
TMK, Toyota owners manuals don’t usually recommend it as part of maintenance, as long as you use Top Tier fuel. Double check the manual to be sure.
(They do recommend some sort of fuel system cleaner if you live in certain climates, like Guam and Hawaii, IIRC.)
The dealer "fuel injection service" is a ripoff. You don't need to do anything if there are no issues.

Please wean yourself off this dealer dependency and find an independent mechanic who won't rip you off.
