Best Lexus car for Commuting

Hello Scotty! I love all of your videos. My very old Honda Accord has finally died out on me today and I am in the market to buy a new reliable car that will be dependable for years of commuting to work. I am a woman and wish to not be haggled with multiple repairs and shortcuts people take to “save money”. I’ve seen on your Channel that you recommend Lexus over Toyota if you can afford it. Is there a specific style that you would recommend over others? Thank you so much for your help.

There are some car's that you may like.

For example, the Toyota Avalon. It is the Toyota that is as or more luxurious and reliable than a Lexus, but does not have the same amount of maintenance or fuel guzzling as the V8 Lexus LS. Just stay away from the V8 ones. Consider a Toyota Avalon.

Other than that they are all pretty good.  If you don't absolutely need it, stay away from AWD or 4WD vehicles, they tend to need more repairs which are often more severe and costly. You are buying "new" or used?

If used, I would avoid older IS250 models and stick to the V6 Lexus's.

No matter what you buy, have a mechanic check it out before purchase.

The new RX, NX, IS, GX, ES: they are all reliable.

Just head down to the Lexus dealer and purchase a new ES 350. It will last you a very, very long time, is loaded with amenities, and won't put you in the poor house financially.

If you don't mind the price and insurance costs, get a Lexus ES350. Although, I would suggest Avalons since they have the same powertrain and cost less.
