Best OBD2 scanner for $50 dollars or less

Hello Scotty and everyone. I’m looking for a capable scan tool but my budget is low. I would like it to be a fully featured scan tool that I wouldn’t “grow out of” if you know what I mean, because I like to attempt some bigger diy repairs and I might be working on my friends cars too so it would have to be able to diagnose a wide variety of brands. Thank you for any recommendations!

Well 50 bucks isn't much for scanner unless you go on eBay and buy a used one. If you're talking brand new I would say look at think car brand

What would you say would be a good used scan tool to look for? I don’t know much about scan tool brands lol.

Scotty said "think car" brand.
