it’s my first time buying a new car and I have my eyes set on a Toyota Corolla. Watching previous videos, I learned of the inflation with prices of cars new and old. When would be the best time to buy ? I also heard around the fall season companies try to sell as much of the older models to make room for newer ones. Is this true ?

The pre-pandemic advice used to be - wait till the end of the month/year for the highest discounts.

Caint tell right now and also depends where you live. Prices can go up and down. Gm are about increase there prices so I won't be surprised other companies do it. So it's like a gamble.
If you really need it right now I say go for it but if you can wait see what happens
