Hey Scotty, I'm buying a remanufacturer ac compressor by Denso on Amazon for my 1988 560sl benz. My original compressor worked great until after a few hundred miles of it working after last year started screaming most likely its the clutch and since the clutch cost almost $200 I might as well buy the whole compressor for $300 no ac leaks all was tested when recharge last month. The new compressor says made in China should I trust it ? Is there a way to find out if it's an actual denso product? Also when my ac was working it was freezing cold 90° here in nyc and there was condensation on the windshield

Buy from a reputable website (if you have to buy online) and do not buy Chinese.

I would strongly recommend to not buy from Amazon. They have a bad history with car parts. Go-to a more well known shop, be it O'Riley's or something, even 1Aauto, something that as to do with cars and not bezos's fat stacks. You can tell it's denzo if the part number matches up with the build eg if it is 1234-56-789 then it should be similar to another 9876-54-321 part number wise is easy enough to google. Most things are made in china, hard to avoid otherwise without a significant markup in price. Of course you don't want to buy a $30-50 dollar china thing, but if it is $300ish reman, then you should be alright, also amazon hates refurb on car parts. They will always try to get you not to send it back.
