So, today when I started my 2001 VW Jetta 186,751 Mi. The check engine light never came on, but today it randomly came on. I must add that it revs high a lot and the transmission kicks. So I did a few test drives and noticed that my car got super hot. And every time I barely touch the brake, the whole car would do a hard stop. But when I step on the gas, the car would be sluggish every time. Anything helps. Thanks.
