I use my 2017 Camry for gig work. I do catering delivery, small package delivery, shopping, and food delivery. I removed the rear seat (super easy to do) which gave me a pretty large cargo area for a sedan. Unfortunately, at 317,000 miles my Camry is starting to show her age. The transmission is on its last legs, A/C has a bad condenser, brakes are at minimum depth, and there is a wheel bearing click on the passenger front wheel. So, it's time to move on to another vehicle. Because of the miles I drive and the type of work I do, my next vehicle is going to be used. My requirements? Good fuel economy (for an SUV), standard automatic transmission, and reliability. I'm not concerned with resale value because I intend to drive this vehicle into the ground. Obviously, the 2.5L RAV4 is on my list. Unlike the Camry, the RAV4 has stayed with a standard automatic transmission. Are there any other SUV or crossovers that I should consider?
