I'm looking to buy an engine for my car. Is there a reliable website that sells engines at a fair price and won't sell a lemon?

Depends on what kind of engine. ATK, Jasper and Powertrain Products are a few. Specialty engine rebuilders like LC Engineering specialize in Toyota engines. Engines with warranties are also available from all major auto parts stores, AutoZone, O'Reilly's, Advance Auto, NAPA etc.

I would try at a junkyard. Otherwise a dealership might also get you a good used one or a refurbished on. Depending on how much you want to spend. You could also buy a brand new one. I bought a brand new one 15 years ago and still runs like a clock.
