After more money than Fort Knox to fix my SL I am going back to Japanese cars. Can you please recommend some good years for the Lexus Convertible, which they stopped making as you know, the Miata, and any other convertible you think is reliable? I think I heard the 250C is a no-go? I am guessing BMW and Audi are out of the running with the same high $$$ repair issues. I live in CA and often do 600+ miles or more in a day visiting family, so looking for something very reliable and prefer a hard top that will always be down

Well, other than a $250C there's not any particular ones I wouldn't like. And that's where the Mazda's I would only get a manual transmission in those meatis I don't like the automatics but the years don't really matter. Just depends on what you find and how much you want to pay for it
