Diesel Engine Sometimes Noisy

Hello Scotty. Love you work thank you. Your YouTube videos are excellent.
re the following vehicle.
Kia Sportage SX 2 LTR Diesel Turbo
12,000 KMS on the ODO

I notice my diesel engine is randomly really noisy for no apparent reason but I can turn it off and leave it for 10 minutes and come back and it quiet again.

Its not the fuel as it does not occur in relation to any tank of fuel.
Operating temperature: It's still noisy after reaching the O.T
Speed has no variation on noise when it happens

This car is mostly very smooth on the engine to the point it sounds like a petrol engine when it is NOT noisy. My gut feeling thinks it may be an issue with top end lubrication?

The car gets an oil change every 5000 KM with full synthetic 5W30 C3 suitable for this vehicle.

When it is noisy, its always when the car has not been driven on that day. Any ideas Scotty?

Let's face it. It's a kia  they're not made all that well. And if it mainly makes you an engine, it's cold. It just means it wasn't made all that well and it's not that tight internally and once it heats up in the metal expands the noise goes away a little
