Do I need to replace the computer on my 2007 Lexus ES 350?

I recently had my check engine light come on and brought it to my mechanic.  They ruled out everything they could and in the end they said I need a new computer module.  I watched your Youtube "This Stupid Thing Will Save You Thousands in Car Repairs" and will try this method for resetting the computer tomorrow.  I did disconnect the battery today and turned on the headlights to drain the electricity out of the system.  Afterwards the check engine light was off! But after driving for 10 minutes, came back on 😣

Here's a link to the mechanic notes so you can see what they did and what they are recommending:

The computer in this model year is mounted directly on the firewall in the engine compartment.  If I do need to replace it - do you have a video that shows how to do that?  Also where is a good place to buy one after market/refurbished?

Thanks in advance, I'm really loving your videos!

He doesn't because it's not a DIY job. I don't think Scotty does it either.

You'll need to get it programmed at the dealer, or a well equipped shop with Toyota specific gear.

I found these folks who will program the ECM based on providing them with the VIN: https://www.fs1inc.com/2007-lexus-es350-3-5l-pcm-engine-computer-ecm-ecu-programmed-plug-play.html#. I'm curious if anyone has experience with companies that do this?
