Car: 2007 Nissan Altima 2.5s
whats the best way to get top money when selling a car. Is it better to sell a popular car by parts or by the whole car.
Try to see if you could get 1500 or something through private party and put the engine miles in the description. In California, someone would pick it up for sure! If not, there goes your money and see what you get offered. I don't know maybe a dealer would offer a 500 dollar trade in and if so that seems pretty good for a 300k Altima.
Generally, sell the whole car private party.
Do you think someone will still buy it when it has 300,000 miles on it. I mean the previous owner swapped the engine. For me it was a money pit since I had to do so much maintenance but if it brakes down again I won’t be able to afford to repair it. I live I’m NJ
Regardless of mileage when you bought the car it was still a old car with a sketchy history and you paid for it anyway. Maybe someone will do the same when you try to sell it.
Just sell a whole car as-is, … and forget about it! Part by part is not worth it, … unless you already have a sizeable, private, junkyard!
F.S.
He could sell it for scrap metal!
Give it to charity if you can use the deduction for taxes. Otherwise many people buy them for a few hundred bucks. I see signs all the time "buy used cars $400". And they pick up.
Dam lost my investment then 😂😭
hey $400 aint bad
What is the mileage on it? (Is it really 300,000 miles?). At 300,000 miles no one will want it or pay hardly anything for it. If you are able, I would look for a different car. Even if you took the parts off and sold them individually, that will take a while.
Yes it has 300,000 mileage but the previous owner swapped the engine so doesn’t that have something to do with the baile of the car. The engine on it has 180,000 mileage I did do the maintenance. I should’ve done my research before buying the car. 🙁 😂😂
