Originally my roof on my 2020 Toyota Corolla had a nasty rattle sound.  I brought the car in under warranty and they wanted to change me to look into it. They wanted 80 dollars to drop the headliner to see if the problem is fixed. The dealer informed me that the vehicle was mostly fine know and if I wanted the headliner pulled down it would cost hundreds of dollars to drop it which I declined.  I go to get the vehicle and the headliner was damaged.  After waiting months and checking in I found it finally arrived,  but they couldn't be bothered to contact me. It took 5 days to get the vehicle back after the get making excuse,  even that another way got damaged during installation.  When I picked up the vehicle the headliner was damaged. I  immediately told them and took pictures.  A day after the dealer said they would fix it I get a nasty call from the dealer saying they did a fine job and their master mechanic took a video to show it. I was accused of do damage to it. After all this I had the same exact rattle. I complained to Toyota corporate and refused to go to that dealership. I went to Ventura Toyota were they actually did an analysis and realized the strut was defective causing the rattle I heard in the roof. This company has different brands and dealerships across the United States and have a history of bad work. I am sorry about the long post but everyone needs to know and stay away from this dealership.

Sorry to hear that. Be sure to let Toyota Corporate know about this - both the bad dealer and the one that fixed things.

They can bring the dealer into line and keep other folks from having this kind of experience.

You can do that at https://support.toyota.com/s/questions-comments?language=en_US
