My wife has a 2024 KIA Sportage, automatic with 15000 miles. The dealer tried to get her to do a BG Fuel Induction Service and charge her $200+. She declined the service. Is this a necessary service at 15000 miles? I have nerver heard of this service. Thank you for your assistance.

No, of course not. The dealer is just trying to empty your wallet. Remember, service writers are salesmen paid on commission and are motivated to upsell you as much as possible.

When the dealer recommends a service ask if it is specified by the factory. If they claim it is ask them to show it to you in the factory maintenance schedule.

No. The Kia dealership is trying to scam you.
