I have a 2021 Toyota Tundra with 3000 miles. I plan to change my oil every 5000 miles full synthetic. The dealer recommends adding BG MOA for an $18 charge. It’s not a high price and theoretically adds some warranty but with this engine and oil change regimen is there any way the additive makes sense? I have done a lot of research and watched a lot of Scotty before picking this vehicle. Thank you.

You don’t need that, just stay on top of the engine oil intervals (every 5,000 miles which you already mentioned).

you never ever need any additives in fluids. synthetic oils already are modified to prevent sludge
