Hey everyone, how is it going? Good I hope. Today I have a question about my 08 bmw 528i. It has a misfire in cylinder 2. I changed all the spark plugs, all the coils, all the fuel injectors but still have the misfire in cylinder 2. So my question is, what could be the reason for this issue? Have you scanned the car yet? The cylinder two misfire is pretty prominent in 5series BMW's for whatever reason according to my reasearch. Try to see if it has anything to do with the crank position sensor. You can also go ahead and start to test the ignition coil harness and circuit. The one I worked on recently was a faulty computer module. Replacing the unit fixed it for me, but I'm sure I got lucky because others on the brimmer forms seem to have more problems than just that. Everytime I scan and clear the code, it comes right back. I will try the crank position sensor. After, I will try your other methods. I will keep you posted.
