Good afternoon has anyone had those cars before and is there any issues I should be looking at before buying .
Currently have Camry 2018 with 60k miles looking for something sporty and fun.
Thanks
They are all sporty and fun to drive, but just remember to take into account maintenance and repair costs.
Thanks is there other cars you recommend
Something for 20 year old looking at 25-50k budget .

I would go with the 340i with some optional sport options rather than the M340i. The 340i is going to be way less expensive than the M340i and it's also way less complex too (both will be very complex if you haven't worked on a BMW before). It has plenty of horsepower (320) for you to have fun with. The M340i of course has way more power (382) but very complex. Honestly you can have fun with ANY BMW if you know what you're doing. I have a 428i that is super easy to work on, and it has plenty of power for me to have fun with. It came stock with 240 horsepower, but after my modifications I have about 290 horsepower now. In my opinion, it's more fun and engaging to build your car rather than just buy a super complex one with a bunch of power...
BMW’s are amazing vehicles. But they cost an arm, leg, and torso to maintain.
If you like a BMW, go for it. Just know, it’s not cheap to maintain. Even just basic maintenance is more expensive.
With BMW, I’ve had problems with the DISA valves, which I understand is like the throttle/intake control.
I’ve also had misfires in an older BMW, but that’s expected down the road. expensive to maintain but great car.
Thanks I'll be sure to check with mechanic before buying to see if there's any huge issues with it
If you must have a Beemer, … than just negotiate a lease on a new one! Drive it, … return it when the lease ends! Trust me, … you will have a blast driving it, repairs will be under warranty - while you will be driving a loaner ( and believe me, you will drive a few loaners!), … and, eventually, you will end up extremely thrilled that your total lease cost will end up a substantially less than a depreciation you would suffer otherwise during equivalent ownership period!

If you like them, they are sport good handling cars that unfortunetly are built cheaply and are expensive to maintain. If you know what to look for and how to maintain it, then go ahead take care of it don't put too many miles on it and it could be a good toy.
