I recently bought a 2015 Nissan Armada SL with the V8. Yes it likes to drink gasoline but I read on the internet about some issues. Supposedly the radiator fails around 100,000 mi or so and can destroy the transmission. I don't know what you know about this but I did some research and they make all aluminum radiators for $360. Would you recommend putting one of those in or just put another OEM radiator in and get another hundred thousand miles out of it? Also are there any other issues that I should be looking out for? Thanks and I love all your videos. Keep them coming.
Any good quality radiator should do the job.
I have been working on Nissans for 15 years and have never seen an intermix condition in an armada I think you should be safe. If you wanted to be safe for cheaper just bypass the radiator and install an external transmission cooler you can get them at any parts store
I looked up complaints and did not see any complaints of that happening. That is more common in vehicles like the Xterras and Pathfinders.
