Hey Scotty, I just purchased a 2012 BMW 528xi with 85,000mi, I love the car however I found out this model with the N20 engine has timing chain issues. I found a shop that will change out all the components involved, the timing chain ,oil pump, head gasket ,oil pan gasket etc.. for $3700. Is it worth doing?

1. How much is the car worth?
2. If you need to shell out more $$$ to replace any broken plastic bits (due to age), are you fine with that?
3. If you sell it as-is right now, how much will you get (> your purchase price)?
